What is a touch screen information kiosk?

The touch screen information kiosk is composed of advanced electronic components such as a touchscreen, motherboard, memory, hard drive, and graphics card, and operates on the same principles as a traditional PC.

With software and a touchscreen of the appropriate size, it can be used to provide public information queries, display advertisements, enable media interaction, present conference content or display products in offline experience stores. When combined with peripheral devices such as fingerprint readers, scanners, card readers, or mini printers, it can be used for specific needs like fingerprint authentication, card reading, and printing. How to properly use the touch screen information kiosk

Powering on/off

• Use 100~240V AC power as the power supply for the touch screen payment terminal.

• If the touch screen information kiosk screen is not turned on, press the standby button on the remote control or the touch screen information kiosk.

• If you want to shut down the touch screen information kiosk system, press and hold standby button on the remote control or the touch screen information kiosk for 4-5 seconds to turn off the system and enter standby mode.

• If you want to completely shut down the touch screen information kiosk, turn off the "power switch" of the touch screen information kiosk, and then unplug the main power socket.

Auto power off function

• In TV or AV mode, if there is no input signal for more than five minutes, the touch screen digital signage kiosk will automatically switch to standby mode.

• In computer mode, if the touch screen information kiosk doesn't receive touch responses for more than five minutes, it will automatically switch to standby mode.

Power off reminder

The touch screen information kiosk will save the image and sound settings when it is powered off. Therefore, when the touch screen information kiosk is turned back on, it will resume to the state before it was powered off.

Note for signal source applications

If using a PC signal source, please set the graphics card resolution to the following modes: 1920x1080@60HZ, 1280x1024@60HZ, 1280x720@60HZ, 1024x768@60HZ, 800x600@60HZ, and 640x480@60HZ.

Built-in computer power on/off

• When the touch screen information kiosk has a built-in computer, to power it on, first press the standby button on the touch screen information kiosk or the remote control to turn on the screen, and then press PC power switch button on the touch screen information kiosk or the remote control to turn on the built-in computer.

• Before shutting down the touch screen information kiosk, use the mouse or touchscreen to shut down the computer through the normal computer shutdown process, then use the standby button on the touch screen information kiosk or the remote control to turn off the touch screen information kiosk. You can also use the 10-point capacitive touch screen information kiosk without a mouse.
